I believe it was a permissions issue.

Does this connect to the servers? or just a ninbot irc chan?

Also it came up ok for me and auto filled my name.

Would not work for me, either. I tried the link provided as well as going in straight through an IRC client and no go whatsoever.

Suggestion:
There ARE IRC channels dedicated to Reaper (any maybe Ninjam... who knows). I propose putting a sticky or some other obvious place where users of this wonderful program can access these channels (which some of which are always occupied) without popping another brain cell.

I realize that some of these channels are for Reaper developers and such, but for the most part they don't mind an occasional comment or question as long as you know your IRC etiquette. Basic principle: don't ask obvious questions and don't be a dick - wouldn't want Ninjammers to get a bad name.

I've always hated IRC channels, people having script wars and power tripping :S but I have to admit that Cockos own IRC has never been like that from my experience of it in the past.
