Does anyone know what could have happened? It sounded like I got kicked or ?
Anyway, the folks here were intrigued but most did not understand why we would want to play with latency. Oh well more for us I guess.
Well good news neutrinos are still going faster than light.
Which could mean sending data backwards in time relative to traveled
distance is still a possibility. (ie 0 latency)

I was doing a talk and wanted the audience to understand what NINJAM was all about. So I staged a kind of guerrilla preview for them. It was probably a bit disruptive but an extremely successful and powerful tool for recruiting more people to play with. That's my overall goal.
I thought maybe it was b/c I was in the lounge at the same time as being logged in, but I am not sure. Today I was on 2052 and 2049 and there was a lot of latency. I rebooted NINJAM three times and on the 3rd it was lining up fine. But I could still hear my onboard computer mic. Not sure why there either.
Could it be that I am traveling in a neutrionic space? And um, you know experiencing time standing still?

We need a macro for quick paste of em. :)
Synth teamviewer is cross platform, if ya every want setting up or remote help just let me know.
I done a lot now, it's easier to connect remotely to someones desktop and do it with them than type tones of text explaining how.
I don't know what its like but emu do a wireless sound device now. But it doesn't use there PatchMix DSP software which tbh is what makes them so great. They perform very good too, very very good, specially with LOADS of VST FX and Instruments.
Only prob some of the cheaper pci or pci express cards don't have pre-amps, that tends to be the majority of the cost but the ones that do have very good preamps built in. Reason I mention them is if ya can have pci or pci express then it would give you some very good hardware routing, probs make things a lot easier, it's like having a 2 grand mixer in a small card and piece of software.
The usb ones don't use Patchmix, think they can route audio but only limited stuff.
I don't run MSN messenger as much no more, it runs too much stuff in the background now, could do with a really basic version again really.
Would be nice to see some new vid's of ya doing this stuff, could use them to showcase NINJAM, along with some from others that are mounting up on youtube now.
They could maybe be made into some kind of entrance page somewhere.
Maybe we need a NINJAM page on FB, other peoples vids can be added to it with just a click.
