A very funny ninjam moment

It was 1.30am, time to log out after an evening of jamming, just a quick look to see who is about. There was this Russian on his own in one room. This is a first! Well, should be on my way to bed, but must have a listen to whats going on over there. Ok, log in!

I’m met by an open soundscape, loops and full of small details, challenging and inviting. We greet each other with a hi, and I enter, and get an instant responce, and off we go........
The jam came to its natural end and I realize that we been playing for hrs, wow, what happened? I thought we only played for 20 minutes or so.

Freddie Hubbard passed away this last week here in LA.
Found this video of him from 1962 with Jazz Messengers.
(from youtube description... This is from 1962 with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. The rest of the band is Wayne Shorter, Curtis Fuller, Cedar Walton, and Reggie Workman. Freddie was just 24 here, and plays his ass off! )
