I'm a UK based drummer, around weekend afternoons - currently 4pm-6pm (regardless of DST). I've been playing since March 2005 (after a long break) and on NINJAM since August 2007. I can play rock fairly well, I try some jazz/bop but I can't get the rhythm for things like funk yet.

This is totally cool, and
This is totally cool, and thank you, the idea for this sort of thing was in my mind, but like so many other things doing it proved beyond my energy. Finding real humans to jam with (assuming your all human, its cool if your not human) locally the only people to jam with seem to be those in search of free lessons, and/or those looking to use my rig (amounting to lots of fun for them little or none for me). The only folks who play are all like, you know, hired and play for a living, not much into jamming, they wanna play covers (yuck, I love the music of others, but I really dig new unique stuff that only jams produce).
Anyway I have jammed (ninjam) a few times over the past year or so, not for long and not frequently. If u see me in your jam, please be as patient as you can, if I'm commiting some faux pas let me know (in jam or out), it is never on purpose. This is totally new to me, (yes I am the noob) I do listen even if sometimes I am sorta dense, if u tell me I eventually get it, most of time right away. I am self taught= I dig most musical terms but have to process the info b4 it sinks into the grey matter. On the plus side, I am willing to accept direction, open minded to all genre's. I dig respect, both giving and receiving :-)~
