I'm thinking of Upgrading My Machine, what you think?

Hiya, yeah the title is a bit strange :) but I'm upgrading this machine soon, was going to use another machine I'd already built but that is great as a HD Media Center for the TV.
Could use an older machine but HD can struggle and I could use a media player but for sites like BBC, Youtube etc. its just as easy hitting the webpage and playing fullscreen.

So I'm going just build another machine, in a nice little case, but I will probs make a chassis for it that disperses the heat throughout the outer case.
This one now is too loud, but at ties I will need extra cooling but I'll put fans on a switch or speed control for if I play a game and the gcard gets the machine hotter.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a Good Stable but quick and steady timing motherboard, that's good for DAW's.
Also an ASIO card that runs great in Win7, I'll probs have to go 64bit Win7 to get full mem, will want to hit eventually 8gigs.

Anyone got any suggestions?
Also does anyone know the max a DVI or RGB 15pin can be safely?
Also maybe a HDMI, what's the max they can go to? As I could maybe go hdmi to dvi at the end, the tv is a plasma and bit older so doesn't have a hdmi but has rgb, component, dvi etc but no hdmi.

hi andy, i think ....we all

hi andy, i think ....we all need to go outside more often we are wasting our lifes in front of a damn lcd screen (some still get blinding bonuses with old crt monitors:)...im smashing my laptop right n

Remember this

Haha Perry :) I had a look

Haha Perry :)

I had a look Pete its cool aint it, I not looked at its full spec yet but I would want recording of upto 24bit but prefferably 32 bit plus at least 48000khz.
What would be nice is 48khz at 32bit, higher khz is cool too but it has to be differed back down but having it there for when specs get to say 96khz or more as a standard would be nice.

32bit is so much cleaner imo so I would either wait for prices to drop or pay out the extra.
Only thing I thought wasn't great about that zoom is the 4 hour battery life, do they have a changable battery? 4 hours is not long enough if spending a day out getting recordings.
See I want to maybe make some sound fx too, there arn't many good free sound fx online so it would be nice to provide people with some.
I'm all for an artist making money for their work but most times its about the rish getting richer and companies making money off the backs of others.

Anyway that zoom aint bad, ill check its full specs later. Thanks for the Link m8.

Also Perry I was listening to ya for a bit last night on the IF Live Broadcast http://improvfriday.ning.com and I was enjoying our Jam last night when I was on piano and u on drums.

It's up to you Andy, I just

It's up to you Andy, I just love my H2, it has 2xAA batteries. There is a new one out now H3...

Yeah I looked at the spec's

Yeah I looked at the spec's of the H3, does 48000khz at 24bit.
I couldn't see a 32bit recorder on first look, but I will check see what the H2 does. It might do 48000hz at 24bit too.
