My TrapKAT - Home from home

MyTrapKAT_HomeFromHome - Copy.jpg

I needed to clear the space where my TrapKAT was living for some DIY work. At the same time, the bass trigger input on the TrapKAT failed, so I had to replace the main PCB, resulting in an upgrade - and also my new PC arrived. And I finally got myself a drum stool. So I had to set everything up in alternate accommodation. (That was why I was off-air for a couple of weeks.)

The arm mounts for the monitor and keyboard are handy - could be better but there didn't seem to be many options that would fit on my rack without lots of hassle (i.e. buying more rack or having separate mounts). It's great having the keyboard and screen there when jamming - far less strain than having them off to my side completely as they were in my old set up.

I'll be moving back again in a week or two... then my old and new PCs can play "who runs quietest" :).

Oh, and specs for the new machine:
Cooler Master Silencio 550 case
Cooler Master GX Lite 600W PSU

240GB Corsair Force GS SSD (OS)
2 TB Seagate (Samples)
